BLAST'S OFFENSIVE SPARK TOO MUCH FOR UCFC, FALLS 10-3

Utica City FC traveled to Baltimore for a road matchup against the Blast. They were beat 10-3 after an offensive spark from Baltimore. 

The first was uneventful for Utica. A series of good team plays by the Blast and a few bad breaks on  on Utica City’s side. After one, UCFC trailed 4-0. In the second, Tim Goldman secured Utica’s first goal of the match with an assist from Andrew Coughlin early in the second quarter (9:09 Q2). Going into halftime the score was was 5-1 for Baltimore. After a slow third quarter, the score was 6-1 in favor of the Blast. 

In the 4th, UCFC’s Gordy Gurson found Nate Bourdeau on a free kick. Bourdeau found the far corner and got Utica City’s second goal. Then Cristhian Segura connected with  Bourdeau on another free kick. He found the far corner again. Utica City FC fell 10-3. They return home on Sunday January 29th.
