CAPTAIN BO'S KID'S DAY

Utica City FC Captain Bo Jelovac announced earlier this week that this Sunday’s Utica City FC match against the Harrisburg Heat will be the first ever Kid’s Day at the Adirondack Bank Center. Jelovac made this announcement in conjunction with a video message apologizing for his red card last Sunday. Kid’s Day will take place during the game this Sunday, January 13, at 2 PM, throughout the concourse of the Adirondack Bank Center. There will be an array of amenities and activities for kids both during the game and afterwards.

Utica City FC is encouraging kids and families to show their support for the team and have some fun on Kid’s Day by bringing handmade signs and posters to the Adirondack Bank Center. The kid with the best sign as determined by the Utica City FC staff will receive a private meet & greet with Bo Jelovac after the game. Kids are also encouraged to bring in their colored photos of cartoon Bo; the best one will be awarded a team-signed ball.

During the game kids will have the chance to interact with an array of local mascots, including Otto the Orange, who is making his first ever appearance at the Adirondack Bank Center. There will also be a variety of concession combo deals and a limited edition “Captain Bo” kid’s t-shirt available in the team store.

Immediately following the game, kids 16 and under will be invited down onto the field for an autograph session with the Utica City FC team. Those wishing to participate should meet by the Horton Room after the game to be escorted onto the field by UCFC staff. Kids will also be able to enjoy an inflatable relay race that will be set up on the field. A Bo autograph card will be provided, free of charge.
