The draft consists of three total rounds, the first two comprising territorial selections (defined as attends/attended high school and/or college in-state; born in-state; or primary residence is in-state) and the third comprising of at-large selections. The order was based on the final regular season standings from the 2022-23 season. Utica City FC held the #5, #18, and #31 overall selections and made the following choices:

#5 overall: Nate Hanna, SUNY Oneonta (GK)

Tommy's Take: " I've known Nate since he's six years old. Nate's been a goalkeeper in our local club, SDA. Nate's an incredible shot stopper with very good feet, distributes the ball really well, and has played the indoor game for quite some time. I think he could be a very good goalkeeper in our league."

#18 overall: Kieran Gilroy, SUNY Oswego (F)

Tommy's Take: "Kieran is a big strong target player who is really good with his back to goal. I think he has all the attributes to becoming a really good target forward in our league."

#31 overall: Ben Zakowski, Monmouth University (M)

Tommy's Take: "Ben is an experienced D1 player who has the qualities to become a high level indoor player. He would be a great addition to Utica City FC and the MASL."

Utica City FC returns to the Adirondack Bank Center on Friday, December 22nd to take on the Baltimore Blast. Tickets are still available at ucfctickets.com.
