UTICA CITY BATTLES UNDEFEATED MILWAUKEE

Tonight's Game: The Utica City FC looks to crash the Milwaukee Waves undefeated season. Kickoff is 2 p.m.

Last Game: Utica City defeated the Baltimore Blast 6-3 to stay undefeated at the Adirondack Bank Center in front of a sold-out crowd. Five different players scored for City and Andrew Coughlin made 15 saves in the win.

Head-to-Head: This is the only meeting between these two teams in the regular 2018-2019 season. Last season these two teams met in Milwaukee and Milwaukee blanked Syracuse 6-0.

Scouting the Wave: Ian Bennett leads the Wave with 10 goals on the season and is tied with Robert Renaud with a 2.6 Points Per Game Average. Josh Lemos has played all five games for the Wave and has a .661 save percentage. Eleven different players have multiple goals on the season and two players have double digits in the points column. The Wave have not lost a game this season. They played Mississauga yesterday, Saturday January 6 and won 8-2.

Undefeated at Home: After Utica City’s 6-3 win against Baltimore Blast they still remain undefeated at home. They have outscored their opponents 29 to 15 when playing in the Adirondack Bank Center.

MASL Honors: Andrew Coughlin was selected to the Team of the Week by the MASL. Coughlin played outstanding against the defending champion Baltimore Blast, he faced 18 shots, saving 15 of them for a .833 save percentage.

Leading the Pack: With the win over the Blast, Utica City remains on top of the Eastern MASL Standings. They are 5-1 through six games and have a .833 win percentage.

Undefeated in the League: The Milwaukee Wave is undefeated this season through their first five games. They have outscored their opponents 46 to 23.
