UTICA CITY FC SET FOR HOME OPENER ON DECEMBER 11

UTICA, NY – Utica City FC is ready to bring the energy back to NBT Bank Arena, as the club will open its home schedule on Friday, December 11 at 7:00 PM.

The Home Opener will begin a new era for Utica City FC under Head Coach Nate Bourdeau and Assistant Coach Darren Toby, two familiar faces who helped build the identity of the organization during their playing careers.

They will be joined by another familiar face in Joey Tavernese, who was named Director of Player Personnel. Tavernese will work alongside the coaching staff and front office on player recruitment, scouting and roster evaluation as the club builds toward the new season.

Fans will soon get their first look at the group that will take the turf under the club’s new leadership, with player announcements set to begin shortly.

The countdown to the season continues tomorrow, when Utica City FC’s complete 2026-27 schedule will be officially released.
