UTICA, N.Y. – Utica City FC is set to kick off their inaugural season with an Opening Weekend slate, beginning with a road game against the Harrisburg Heat at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Arena, December 1 at 7:05 p.m. The new team will return for their first home matchup on Sunday, December 2 at the Adirondack Bank Center against the defending champions Baltimore Blast at 2 p.m. This will be the inaugural season home opener for Utica City FC, the newest tenant of the Adirondack Bank Center.

This season, Utica City FC will play a 24-game schedule (12 home, 12 away) within their conference to determine playoff positioning. Each team will play their divisional foes a minimum of four times, the rest of the schedule will be filled with matchups from the other division in their conference.

Utica City FC will compete in the Eastern Division of the Eastern Conference alongside Baltimore, Harrisburg, and fellow newcomers Mississauga. The MetroStars make their first visit to the Adirondack Bank Center on February 10.

MASL Commissioner Joshua Schaub said, “Last year was exciting from the opening day right to the championship game in Monterrey. This year’s schedule could be even better. With teams being focused on their conference, each regular season game becomes a must-win.”
