UTICA CITY TRAVELS TO MILWAUKEE FOR FRIDAY NIGHT GAME
QUICK LOOK: Utica City FC (2-5) takes on the Milwaukee Wave (1-6) for the first time this season. Milwaukee’s only win came against the Chihuahua Savage on Friday, January 14th. Utica City is coming off of a season high three straight losses.
HEWERTON RETURNS: Utica City FC announced the signing of Hewerton Moreria on Thursday.Hewerton has enjoyed a 15-season career as a player, appearing in 296 games and posting 196 goals and 170 assists. He played for the seven indoor soccer teams including for the Wave. He won three league championships during his seven years with the Wave. He will return home in his first game with Utica City as they travel to Milwaukee.
LAST TIME OUT: Utica City FC fell to the Baltimore Blast 8-4 Sunday afternoon. The teams were tied at halftime, but the Blast took advantage of Utica’s mistakes in the second half. Juan Pereira scored four goals for Baltimore in the win. UCFC outshot the blast 26-20 in the loss, and fell to 2-5 on the season.
