UTICA TRAVELS NORTH TO BATTLE METROSTARS

Today’s Game: Utica City FC heads north to take on the Mississauga Metrostars for the third matchup of the season between these inaugural season teams. Kickoff starts at 7:35 P.M.

Last Game: Utica City FC picked up a 13-5 victory at the Adirondack Bank Center Sunday February 10 against the MetroStars. Bo Jelovac lead the attack with four goals and an assist, followed by Slavisa Ubiparipovic who fished with four assists on the afternoon. Logan Roberts also had two goals to secure the win for Utica City FC. Following the game, Logan Roberts, Bo Jelovac and Andrew Coughlin were all named to the MASL Team of the Week.

Head-to-Head: This is the third meeting between the Eastern Division rivals this season. Utica City FC leads the season series 2-0 and won the most previous matchup on February 10 with a final score of 13-5. City has outscored the MetroStars 17-10 over the last two matchups. 

Scouting the MetroStars: Missisauga comes in with 2-10 record on the season and sits in last place in the Eastern Division. They most recently fell to Utica City FC on February 10. Damion Graham leads the offense with 19 points, followed by Molham Babouli with 18 points. Hot Hands: Andrew Coughlin has been a consistent force in goal all season. After 15 games Coughlin finds himself at 11-3 with allowing an impressive 72 goals against in correlation to 212 shots against. Coughlin scored two goals of his own on February 8 earning him Player of the Week.
